D&H Canada is celebrating 15 years of business, partnership, and growth in 2022! Following nine decades of resiliency, evolution, and success in the United States, D&H expanded its service to Canadian reseller partners with the launch of D&H Canada in July of 2007. Operating with a partner-first mentality, D&H Canada has built for growth with an unmatched tenacity throughout the last 15 years while remaining focused on the mutual success of our partners. We thank our valued customers, manufacturer partners, suppliers, channel associates, and affiliates for their continuous support and look forward to reaching many more milestones together in the coming years.

As a part of our 15-year celebration, we have officially established the D&H Canada Cares Foundation. D&H Canada Cares is a unique and meaningful part of the D&H Canada culture, bringing together D&H Canada employees, customers, and manufacturer partners to support not-for-profit organizations in the communities that we serve. 100% of the money D&H Canada Cares receives goes directly to help others in times of need. For our inaugural charitable initiative, D&H Canada Cares is currently supporting Youth Without Shelter, a non-profit that works to help youth facing homelessness in the greater Toronto area.

D&H Canada continues to build for generations to come with:

The addition of Michelle Biase as General Manager & David Stephens as VP of Sales, further strengthening the D&H Canada Leadership Team as we strive to become a $1 billion company.

Opening a new warehouse facility in September 2022 located in Surrey, BC and offering 3x the capacity of our current facility.

And, plans to move to a new Mississauga, ON distribution center in 2023 with a similar capacity increase.

  • Name changes to Williamsport Auto Parts, reflecting the addition of wholesale inventory for the fledgling automobile service industry.
1926
  • D&H enters the electronics business by adding Crystal radios.
Name changes to D&H Distributing; Adds Philco radios, the first brand, and D&H grew with them.

D&H becomes official RCA distributor.

After 25 years, D&H sells the auto parts business to finance consumer electronics expansion.

  • D&H enters the Security Products market.
1973
  • The TV parts department enters personal electronics with Bearcat scanners and Cobra CBs. A turning point for D&H and the advent of the ESP (Electronic Specialty Products) Division; later named Computer Products Division.
D&H enters the video game market by becoming an Atari distributor.

  • Authorized as Distributor for Texas Instruments, Packard Bell, Commodore computers and Panasonic Printers.

  • Largest US distributor of both the RCA and Whirlpool brands.
D&H expands the Home Entertainment Division with the addition of over 30 consumer electronics manufacturers.

  • D&H completes the expansion of the Computer Products Division with eight distribution hubs throughout the United States.

  • D&H announces the Education Division, selling into the K-12 and College Bookstore markets.
D&H K-12 Division becomes the nation's largest supplier of calculators and related products to educational institutions.

D&H becomes an employee-owned company and institutes ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program)

  • D&H announces formation of the Access to Education Division, dedicated to meet the needs of Educational Resellers targeting the K12 school markets; D&H becomes the largest technology distributor to college bookstores.
2002
  • D&H relocates Chicago and Dallas warehousing facilities and grows total nationwide warehouse capacity to 1.1 million sqft; debuts as a full-line gaming distributor; and celebrates its 85th Anniversary. D&H rates as highest performing distributor in CRN Preferred Sourcing Study for the 2nd year in a row.
D&H hits $1B in revenue and expands warehouse capacity to 1.5 million square feet.

  • D&H becomes authorized as a Cisco distributor, first disti added in over 10 years; 2nd year in a row D&H receives RAM Distributor of the Year Award.
